If you, O Lord, laid bare our guilt, who could endure it? But you are forgiving, God of Israel. Psalm 129:3-4

Update on Pastoral Administrator Interviews: The interview committee finished the last of the interviews and we are
narrowing it down to the final two choices. Thanks to everyone that volunteered to help with this process. We had lots
of good choices and it was a difficult decision.

UP-COMING ACTIVITIES:

Parish Council: Our parish council meeting will be held today after breakfast in the church hall. Everyone is welcome!
We need to do some serious fund raisers. Please come help us if you have some ideas!

Bible study/Choir Practice is Monday night at 5:00 p.m. at the church house. Join us for potluck dinner and reflection on
the readings and singing His Praise.

Book Club: We are starting a book club in October. We plan on meeting once a month. Start thinking of your ideas and
we will map out our reading selections and plans for the first meeting. Potluck/finger foods will be provided. We would
like to consider doing a dinner mystery, having a board game night, going to a play or maybe even a cards night one
month. (So consider joining us even if you aren’t sure about the “reading”).

Sunday crafts: We are planning to start the Sunday afternoon crafting again at the hall as the weather gets colder,
probably in November. Start thinking about some of those projects you would like to finish for Christmas. We have a
couple of people that want to scrapbook. Several others are quilting and beading. The craft fair is coming up quickly.
Be thinking about what you would like to do. We will be sharing dates and times soon.

Breakfast: We need volunteers for cooking breakfast after mass. Please contact Diana (work: 722-7637 or cell: 998-
2856) with the dates that you are available.

ON-GOING PROJECTS:

We have several continuing projects that are being worked on. Your donations of time, materials, funds or expertise are
always appreciated. Please leave a message at 722-4592 if you can help in any way

Wood for Church and Hall: We still need at least 3, maybe 4, cords of wood for the church and the hall if anyone could
donate us some for this winter. Thank you.

Soda Pop Tabs: We have been asked to save and collect the tabs off of soda pop cans. These are being used to help
provide funding for Jackie Finley’s grandson’s kidney treatments. Please drop the tabs off at the church. Thank you for
your support.

Prison Ministry: Inmates need books and dollars for commissary. Also, some family members need gas money to get
to Spokane and Nespelem to visit their relatives in prison. If you can help, please mark the donation and drop it in the
basket.

Supply Donations: Don, a homeless man, needs food. Please drop any donations off at the office. We will make sure
that he gets them. Peanut butter, instant coffee, canned meats, propane bottles, water, dog food, and canned dinners
are all appreciated.

Aluminium recycling: Please keep bringing your cans down and put them behind the clothing bank….and thank you.

Clothing bank: The clothing bank is open. Please bring your donations and drop them off at the church. We appreciate
volunteers having time to fold and sort items in the clothing bank. Anyone under 15 years of age who wishes to use the
clothing bank must bring an adult with them.
